9 weeks to go! I can hardly believe it! Last week we went to a doctors appointment and another ultrasound (that's 5!) I have to admit I love having so many ultrasounds and seeing this little kiddo. My doctor was curious to know how big he is since I'm measuring ahead still. I was really worried because my family is notorious for having big babies (9-10 pounders! me being one of them). But, all was well during the ultrasound. Baby Brown is a healthy 3 lbs 4 oz and in the 37 percentile which is great! And he's head down and facing backwards so he's in position and ready to go. The doctor predicted that when he's born he'll be about 7 lbs 4 oz. Ah happy momma! I'm still measuring ahead which could be just how he is positioned in me. I'm thinking that he is really long. When I feel him move he is way low and on opposite corners kicking the back of my ribs.
I'm feeling good, can't complain. I'm more tired, sore, and forgetful, but that is normal. I'm very grateful for air conditioning and a relaxing summer, and a helpful husband. The baby's room is painted, car seat is assembled, and boxes of diapers and wipes are present. I'm feeling slightly ready. I know that I still have 9 weeks, and I don't want him out yet, but I'm excited to hang out with this kiddo on the outside! I've been thinking about the hospital bag that eventually will need to be packed. Any suggestions?
P.S. If you want to check out his latest ultrasound go to www.youtube.com/jimmybyu they are posted by date taken. Good luck figuring out what you're seeing :)

Yay! That is so exciting! I hope you are feeling well. The last trimester is the hardest for me. Have you two chosen a name? Oh and the hospital bag? I had to bring something that smelled good because the hospital smell got to me (even though I have worked in a hospital), so I packed diluted linen water and sprayed it all the time. Good luck through these last few weeks and the delivery! Love you!
